Managing Director

Madelaine ran Prospero PR – a boutique PR and Marketing company specialising in performing arts – from 2005.

In 2011, Madelaine took a year-long sabbatical from Prospero to head up the global PR for Time Out.

Madelaine joined Premier PR, the largest arts, culture, and entertainment agency in the UK in 2016. At Premier as Publicity Director, she headed up the Performing Arts department between 2016 & 2020, and in that time, she led the media campaigns on over 300 high-profile arts, culture, and entertainment film and TV projects.

In early 2020 Madelaine left Premier and joined Gaby at The GingerBread Agency where she has worked for a wide range of both arts and brand clients.

Founder

Gaby has worked in entertainment PR since 2007.

Beginning her journey in the world of comedy and television PR at Avalon she went on to work with some of the top entertainment PR agencies.

GingerBread’s sister agency Gaby Jerrard PR is an established brand in comedy and entertainment PR across the UK, one of the leading comedy PR agencies at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and across a wide spectrum of culture and entertainment, from television to live shows, books to podcasts.

At GingerBread Gaby lends her expertise to creative brand projects, bringing her extensive experience to GingerBread’s experiential and activation projects.

Charlotte Wakely

Charlotte Wakely


Charlotte founded and led comedy agency CatFace Talent for 6 years,  a role that included international tour booking, talent management and show production.

She has worked on shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for over 15 years, alongside delivering corporate events for clients including Dolce & Gabbana, Chelsea Flower Show, Hublot, F1 and Benefit Cosmetics.

With a rare end-to-end understanding of live entertainment production, she joined The Gingerbread Agency in 2022, bringing her creative insight and rigorous organisation skills

Stella Reilly

Stella Reilly


Stella’s PR career began at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, leading to four years working across comedy, theatre and music in the performing arts sector.

Broadening into consumer communications, she worked with household names including Spotify, Fender, Supercell and William Grant & Sons, sharpening her strategic thinking on cross-sector campaigns. Returning to the arts, she now blends cultural instinct with commercial perspective.

With over a decade in communications, Stella brings strong media relationships, sharp editorial judgement and a calm, collaborative approach.

Tara Dein

Tara Dein


Tara began her career in national newsrooms including LBC, talkRADIO and Times Radio, working as a set-up producer on daily live programmes and developing strong skills in editorial shaping, guest booking and bringing news stories to life.

She then moved into Arts PR, working with artists to craft compelling campaigns and position cultural work within the wider media landscape. Her background across live broadcasting and the arts gives her a strong instinct for storytelling and an understanding of what resonates with audiences.

Alongside her professional work, Tara enjoys writing, salsa dancing and playing her violin.

Gemma Selby

Gemma recently graduated from University of Leeds with a degree in Social Work.

Alongside this she played football for Tottenham Hotspur Women, which taught her teamwork, resilience and how to perform under pressure.

She joined the Gingerbread PR Agency as a team assistant in 2025.

Elin Morgan

Elin Morgan

Consultant

Elin is a communications professional with almost 20 years’ PR experience in the culture and charity sectors.

She has worked in-house, freelance and for agencies including Battersea Arts Centre, the Lyric Hammersmith, Prospero Communications as a Director, Mobius Industries as PR Director and Sadler’s Wells as Head of Press.

Elin was a founder member and trustee of Theatre Uncut over a ten-year period and is now an advisory board member for Uchenna Dance Company. Elin holds a BA in European Theatre Arts from Rose Bruford College and an MA in Creative Writing (Non-fiction) from UEA.

She works with GingerBread as a consultant bringing strategic expertise to campaigns.
